Exit Light, Enter Night

Mammoth thrifting session this weekend! Peep my haul because I am super proud.

I got four work shirts, two of which can be worn more casually. I also scored 4 skirts, 1 that is best suited for work and the other 3 can be worn either to work or on the weekends depending on how I snazz it up. Finally I got 2 dresses.

I guess this would be a good time to discuss my thrifting style. A while back, I read on a blog that it makes the most sense to only buy the high quality brands. At the end of the day, it just makes more sense. When I look in my closet, I have quite a bit of Ann Taylor and Banana Republic and other brands of that nature because I know the quality. I also have vowed to never pay over 10 bucks. I live for the half off at Value Village on holidays!! Most of my work clothes are thrifted and every morning that I get dressed, I am uber proud of my bargains.

Allow Me to Introduce Myself

Hello! I go by many names. Many call me Aundrea, some call me Barb. My Spirit Animals call me DJ C.L.A.M. You, dear reader, may call me The Preppy Thrifter. My goal with this blog is pretty straight forward. I am an avid thrifter and have been since high school. Instead of buying costumes and prom dresses, I am nowing buying business casual and full-on casual attire. I am pretty new to the working world and making the transition from jeans, flip flops and polos to button-ups and skirts.

I will try to take daily, sorta daily outfit shots but don't get your hopes up. i will also try to take pictures of my thrift haul.
